Gentle readers:  Here is the full text of the talk I gave at the 2026 Touchstone conference, “City on a Hill?  Christians in America at 250,” which is in the November-December issue of Touchstone magazine:  “To Keep a Republic:  Enlightened Self-Interest Is Not Enough.”

I’ve also added the item to the “Articles in other magazines” section of this website’s Articles Page, which has scads of stuff.

News:

I’ve also given a couple of talks at a Rome conference on natural law, which will be posted to this website later on.  Here is the conference trailer.  Here is the conference program.

Titus Techera, “The Quest for Sanity,” Civitas Outlook, has been reprinted in Epoch Times, October 2026.  This is a review of my book Pandemic of Lunacy: How to Think Clearly When Everyone Around You Seems Crazy.
