I retired from the University of Texas at Austin in 2026. My primary appointment was in Government; I was jointly appointed to the Philosophy Department and to the School of Civic Leadership. In addition, I taught some courses in the Department of Religious Studies and the Law School. Following is the chronology of my appointments.
